Qualified candidate will be responsible for providing credit risk analysis for commercial and corporate lending. Must have a working knowledge of GAAP and ability to read, understand and analyze financial statements. Must have a working knowledge of agriculture and all related industries. Must be able to independently determine if financial performance, economic conditions, industry influences are within risk tolerances and underwriting requirements. Experience and sound judgment skills discern the appropriate amount of due diligence and documentation needed to support an informed credit decision. Must have effective writing skills. Must have effective presentation skills and able to make recommendations of underwriting findings to Loan Committee. Reports to the Chief Credit Officer.
Will be required to supervise, mentor and train junior analysts within a career path that affords them the ability to grow within the organization. Ability to effectively work with employees in a team environment to achieve business goals and supervise / train junior staff. Capable of working independently and with little supervision. Proficiency in use of Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Moody’s Financial Analyst.
Minimum of 6 years of work experience. Minimum of 4-year degree in agriculture/finance/business with an advanced degree preferred. EOE - M/W/D/V
Salary: Salary and grade dependent upon experience.
