This position has the responsibility for retaining and expanding the correspondent company relationships and soliciting new mortgage business from prospective customers within the Farm Credit system and outside the system.
Calls on existing or prospective customers within the framework of a business development call program. Develops leads, establishes priorities and prepares itineraries. Meets with customers or prospects to discuss their needs, outlines appropriate company services and resolves problems as necessary. Documents calls and results and makes reports to superiors as required. Assists in the implementation and coordination of business development call programs. Maintains close relations with appropriate company personnel. Discusses customer needs, problems or complaints. Keeps abreast of new products and services. Represents the company in various civic and community functions to further enhance its image and develop additional business. Works with product development personnel to review existing products and identifies opportunities for new products and services. Provides continuous training and advertisement to potential and existing customers
