The Board of Directors of AgHeritage Farm Credit Services is seeking candidates for the position of President/CEO to lead the organization forward as the premier provider of financial services to agriculture and rural communities for the benefit of its member/owners. This $600 million Farm Credit Association has over 50 employees in 9 branch locations dedicated to serving the agricultural credit and financial needs of more than 2400 stockholders in 24 central Arkansas counties. Duties also include developing and maintaining effective marketing and business development programs; developing and maintaining an effective and viable set of credit related financial services; developing an effective credit administration program; and maintaining a quality loan portfolio. In addition, the President/CEO is responsible for ensuring the financial viability of the organization and for developing and implementing plans and policies to enhance the competitive position of the organization within the lending marketplace. He/she will identify strategic areas to support future development consistent with the association strategic and tactical objectives and will direct the development of a cohesive organization which is responsive to customer needs and efficient in its provision of credit and credit-related services. The President/CEO represents the association and Farm Credit Services in various public relations responsibilities throughout the areas served and within the Farm Credit System. The successful candidate must have highly developed interpersonal, communication and consultative management skills as well as demonstrated leadership abilities. The candidate should have broad financial experience in a major agricultural lending organization, including executive level managerial accountabilities and demonstrated abilities in working with boards of directors.
The position requires a Bachelors Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Agriculture, or closely related field and a minimum of ten years of leadership or management experience. The AgHeritage President/CEO position is a grade 23. EOE - M/W/D/V
