Description:
This newly created position will develop new agribusiness customer base and expand existing relationships.
Because our Agribusiness center is located in Harrisonburg VA, preference is to have the position working out of the Harrisonburg Office, although some ‘virtual office’ flexibility may be possible.
Responsibilities:
The primary job responsibility is selling and marketing loan products that fit the needs of our territory’s agribusiness customers. The position will potentially begin with a $40 million portfolio with expectations to double.
Requirements:
Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Agriculture (or related) with preference given to master’s degree
• Five plus years of commercial lending experience with emphasis in agriculture lending preferred
• Demonstrated strong customer relationship skills with proven ability to maintain long-term productive business relationships
• Current awareness of region’s economic environment with good understanding of the agriculture economy
• Exceptional ability to form strong internal working relationships and ability to work in high performing team environment
• Ability to make sound business decisions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products with demonstrated ability to learn new technology
• Travel requirements up to 75% (primarily day travel with some overnight required)
